Sup'Air harness buckles - no doubt other brands to follow. Different buckle to previous S/N

Unfortunately only in French at present:

Approximately translated as 'the safety T lock buckles numbered in the S/N have opened unpredictably in flight. The fault is not visible. stop flying any harness so equipped now...'

Buckle Up ...

Is it just me or is anyone else beginning to lose confidence in T-Lock type buckles? Various designs seem to be used on so many harnesses now.
I've just looked at Ryan's Advance Progress 2 and while a different T-Lock to the ones highlighted, it too has a lot of play (more than my Finsterwalder T-Lock/Click-lock).

Should we all be using backup webbing, tedious though this maybe and if so, how and what?
