| Flight details: | I took off from the paddock at 11:30 and floated around with a melee of P/Gs for seven minutes and then, as the wind was a bit west of north-west, I went down-wind to Newtimber, where I had the joy of complete freedom to turn in the thermals which ever side they were on and whenever I was in a core, as no other pilots came within 500 meters of Newtimber. There were some 4-up climbs and a few P/Gs went over the back from the Dyke, with Ked getting to ASDA. I had an enjoyable 50 minutes at Newtimber, with quite lively air (which made for an interesting landing approach), sometimes being able to look down on all the P/Gs still at the Dyke, until the thermals started to get more staid and I bottom landed by the Newtimber roundabout.
