| Flight details: | With Franco, Shaun Bolton, Mark Rubinstein & Springy. A good climb from the Dyke to 4000 feet, then drifted east to reach 5200 feet east of Falmer. Further climbs marked by sailplanes, then convergence lift further east, although SBF difficult to see. I lost touch with Franco and the others, probably by taking a too northerly route south of Heathfield, then lost the lift and the clouds fizzled out. Glided to land at Bodle Street Green. |
