| Flight details: | The last day with a 130km task set into the BIG mountains behind Annecy... The only problem was they thought the cloudbase would be around 9000ft but in fact it was only about 7000ft and so the course was VERY hard as if you dropped below the mountains you went into the stable high pressure air. Not many made goal, I had a great flight but only managed 74kms before getting flushed into a valley that was nearly as high as my take off at col de forclaz...
Looking forward to a rest day tomorrow (travelling home) as I've flown for the last 9 or 10 days in a row with more than 30 hours airtime!!! |
