It's a personal best and I flew with friends, Simon for a bit, Carlo and Tefal, Mark was there too, sometimes!
I decided to change down several gears around Tenterden, the boys on their D's were off chewing the k's while I got high! Meanwhile Mark was on the turn from Ashford and passed nearby me on his way back to Caburn. Definitely another challenge for another time, as my heart seemed set on getting past Ashford and anything after that was a bonus.
The roar of the traffic over the M20 was extremely satisfying and to then see Carlo and Tefal towards Faversham gave me a heart flutter and I took to my speed bar to catch them up.
We climbed together near Challock and then one last shot at Shottenden. I could see Canterbury Cathedral and just had to glide towards it, I landed 6km short of the city centre.
Carlo glided low to land with me for Celebrations!
