Title: A small triangle at Bo Peep and 3 hours of flying
Site:Bo Peep
Pilot:John Turczak
Date of flight:26th September 2013
Wing type:Paraglider
Flight details:
Got to Bo Beep and the wind was a little top end and a bit gusty. There was a group of guys huddled in a van in the car park and Vincent Talleu was flying. So walked across the hill met Ed Bewley walking back to the car park. But he turned around and came back to the hill with me.Went to the main take off and it felt too strong there so came back along the hill a bit and after a bit of deliberation decided to give it a go.

I had to use some speed bar to get across the fence so it was a little strong, but once that was done pushed out in front and it was good.

Penetration was fine. I checked it every now and then and just faced into wind hands up and I was getting 10 to 12 K ph on the GPS. So that was fine. I then had a single three hour flight with only 3 or 4 other pilots at most out. Lift was OK. I managed a max of about 600ft above take off but generally was 200-300 feet above take off. Followed the ridge from Alfriston end up to the trig point and pushed out front when ever I could.

Having seen a few people get dragged across the top of the hill when they landed I opted for a bottom landing and a walk up.

All in all a very pleasant 3 hours of flying at a very uncrowded Bo Peep and a small 6k Triangle flown
