| Flight details: | Amazing day and many lessons learnt! Having forgotten my gloves I didn't realise just how cold my hands would get until some time into the flight, also knowing I had work in the evening definitely took the edge of my flying! Would have been interesting if I could have flown further with a completely free day ahead and maybe left the hill a little later. I was always thinking about flying back to Coombe and being home for work, which was a futile effort!
Anyway an amazingly enjoyable flight, thermaling with sailplanes and large birds of prey! Please let the weather gods bring on many more days like this!
Would also like to say that the new Telegram/tgmap.co.uk interaction is excellent and thanks to all involved! Used it to meet up with Tom Kane for a retrieve back to Coombe. No time for a second flight unfortunately! |
