Flight details:
With the Flybubble posse, last to launch and got a speedbar line over the instruments, so had to land and sort it out. By the time I got away about 30 other pilots had arrived and were climbing out. I joined the first group and followed them towards the Clee Hills, but could not keep up and took a more southerly course, meeting up with another one wolf on a Delta and finding a good climb. I was at about 1500 ft north of Tenbury Wells when a buzzard marked another good climb and allowed me to literally sit on his tail a few feet away: magic! The sky stayed good until past Ludlow, and I saw several gliders ahead on course for the east side of the Malverns, but then things spread out a bit and I could not get any lift in the Bromyard area and had to land near the town. Grita landed at about the same time 10 km further on, and Crispin cruised on to Ledbury. Carlo somehow stayed aloft for 7.5 hours on his way to Dorchester!
A good day out, but it would have been nice to do 50 km...
