| Flight details: | Very hard flying at the beginning, got really low many times, but patience seems to often pay up, zeros becoming 3m/sec out of a sudden.
Flew very slowly, going as high as I could at every climb, it was funny as I was getting taken over by few gaggles, leaving me behind, but I my plan for today was to stay in the air as long as I could.
But then my bladder was ready to burst and I was really tired, so when I got really low again I prepared for landing at 98km, then a super punchy low save came a long, together with swifts showing me the best bit and I had no choice but to climb in it, all the way to base, there I decided to empty take a leak, and I managed that without a drip on my harness, RESULT :)
There on it was really easy, climbs were very big and easy to find, my phone battery was at 2% and I was worried about retrieve, so I landed on the services although I was at 1000feet and yet in another climb!!!
What a fantastic day, and I can finally pat myself on the back I'm not just a Jammy git anymore :D
I'm still rubbish at reading the sky and keep getting low all the time, but being able to climb up in low thermals seems to keep me on the game! |
