Flight details:
A bit sporty at times but the climbs were there. I managed to cock up a good flight by messing about with my oudie mid flight. Note to self sort out instruments before you take off and know what they do.

I had a set a route to miss the various Notams but I had set it from Milk Hill Bowl and I launched from round the corner on the White Horse. As I didn't pass through my 400 m start cylinder the route kept trying to send me back to milk. I was also trying the oudie in task up mode. Bewtween those two things it was driving me nuts. So I tried to fix it mid flight. stopped paying attention and missed the climb of a pilot near me who went from about 500 feet below me to a over 800 feet above. And that was the kiss of death of the flight.

Other than that it was defintley fun getting to base.

I landed in a crop of barley, which brought the farmer out. I apologized and when he realised I was not on a powered wing he was really helpful and drove me all the way to Newbury train station.( about 10 miles)

I used my senior rail card for the first time. Not bad Newbury to Three bridges 20 quid.
