| Flight details: | A really slow, scrappy climb out of Caburn with Nancy, drifting back all the while. Hung on in zeros for what seemed an age then got my first good climb from a low save off a hay field and winnowing tractor just north of Laughton to almost get up to Carlo who was hanging about a cloudbase waiting for me. Carlo pressed on and I seemed to spend ages mincing around close to the radio mast at Cross in Hand before gliding off to clouds that dissipated as I drew near and eventually landing near Burwash. Still, back to back XCs from Mt C and a tad under 27km. Thanks to C and G for the retrieve. |
