| Flight details: | Took a new bit of kit up Caburn for its first proper outing apart from some faffing around Beachy Head.
Eventually it got me high enough for a trip tease but it never really connected with more useful thermals.
Despite Caburn breezing quite strongly, I landed in a very light Northerly with some ill-defined streeting to the North.
The bonus was after walking 200m I got a lift back to Caburn by the farmer who lives next to the landing field and farms to the South of it. Took me to the gate. Nice positive guy.
Maybe it will try harder next time. |
