| Flight details: | Continuing my theme of flying to pubs.......followed a line out to the front of DD and was rewarded with a gentle and consistent climb up to a nice looking cloud street heading down to the SE. Topped out at 3,100ft with it all starting to get a bit dark, but there was a nice big patch of sun over Falmer and the stadium and as I had already drifted to nearly the A23, off I went. Patch of sun then started to disappear, of course, and then I got hailed on (which I didn't spot coming at all), quite hard at times, so I gave up climbing and booted out of it. This took me lowish over Kingston Hill but within a glide of the field next to the Abergavenny. Pint and chips followed....... |
