| Flight details: | After a cold first flight and leaving Roger Turner to go on after sharing the climb that he then went xc,i decided to run back to the ridge from frostbite fingers ,and hearing he made polegate,made me wont another go to xc,so an 1 1/2 hours later in gusty conditions i caught my very own really stonking bubble and went over the back going up in a spiral like position. then just hovered alone under the clouds ,a few turns here and there and went with the wind,it fizzled out at a nice windmill on a hill looking across the valley to firle,prob could have glided further towards newhaven ,but the main road A27 is always good for retrieves , with a big numb thumb pointing at all those fast cars rushing past i thought i had no hope of a lift .till a fellow club member on his way from the loft saw me and bobs your uncle,back at the dyke to share a cake,cheers rob ,yummy. |
