Flight details: | Pleasant flying and enjoyable thermals to be had but none that would ever take you much higher than 3,000' and those that were there had quite a pronounced drift. But anyway, at 2,800' the choice was either to continue bimbling around the Dyke or give it a go and see where it takes you. I usually go for the latter as the experience of getting away, no matter how far, is always a joy and sometimes leads to better things. To me that is what the joy of flying is all about. Not far this time but nevertheless fun thermalling with Simon Steele, Tefal, Martin Long and John Young.
And thank you Pete for the lift home! |
