| Flight details: | A busy morning at Caburn but I wasn't getting much height even after dumping my leaky ballast bottle.
I was about to give up when I connected to a climb with about eight other gliders that drifted until I was committed.
With cirrus clouds overhead it was hard to find proper climbs (although I did turn to see the Catherine, Gary and David gaggle in a good second climb). My flight was more of a drift which occasional bits of lift followed by a glide to the grounds of a police dog training park. Fantastically I landed to find that Marianne was there waiting to retrieve me - what an amazing service!
A lovely May Day morning. |
