| Flight details: | My climb out from the Dyke was a bit earlier than Nancy and Mark's and it wasn't smooth. The air mass was lumpy and bumpy. This was my first XC flight on the Artik 4. Once I left the hill the conditions got a bit easier. The Chili 3s were just ahead but landed near Plumpton. Carlo came back and joined me in my climb and we flew together until I landed near the Ringmer sailplane field. Carlo took a more Southerly line and landed near Upper Dicker. Crispin came to pick me up and then we collected Nancy and Mark and went on to have lunch together at the lovely Village Cafe in Upper Dicker, joined later by Carlo and Peter B. |
