Flight details:
A slow climb out after the first gaggle, who all came back to the hill, but the Chili 3 team were still climbing so on we went, together with a gent on an Aircross. All seemed fine to begin with. Carlo and Grita catching us up so the possibility of a bigger gaggle, but JT and I elected to go on a glide without much in prospect: shadowy off towards Lewes with no really active looking clouds. A patch of sun over Plumpton College though. The Aircross - ahead and a bit higher - did an about turn and went back to a large area of fields baking in the sun to the SW of Ditchling. A good call! JT and I glided to the ground at Plumpton College, where we were able to enjoy to the full a procession of around a dozen intrepid Dykers passing overhead - including the Aircross, big-earing below the cloudbase above us about 10 minutes after we landed. Well done to you all: as you can imagine, you all had our best positive vibes and warm feelings as we watched you fly off into the distance..........

Still. Accentuate the positive. I shall not forget the very definite and ultimately effective decision making demonstrated by Mr Aircross. If you see this, please let us know who you are. Where did you get to?
