| Flight details: | Up in a big thermal with lots of pilots, all quite spread out in multiple cores. Didn't quite make base, had a sinky glide over the back. Found another weak climb just south of Church Stretton, and three more gliders joined me. But it seemed to peter out, or perhaps I left it too early. I flew over a pilot who'd just top-landed on the hill W of Church Stretton. How annoyed he'd be if I skied out over his head, I thought. But I didn't. Just squeaked out the 5k needed to score in the BCC. Still struggling to upload GPS tracks to here... |
