| Flight details: | This was my fourth trip to Newhaven, the first three flights were in weak conditions and resulted in total air time of around three minutes. Today however, with the help of Tim Cox's and Windy John's advice and with ideal conditions, I managed it without any problems. I understand that the real skill starts when conditions are marginal but they were so spot-on that I had no trouble crossing the gaps at Saltdean and Rottingdean. Really enjoyable flight; it's amazing how many people take the trouble to wave or hoot from their cars on the coast road. |
