| Flight details: | Didn't intend to XC but got envious of a gagle in The Big One (relatively speaking) so I decided to try and get up there. Never really connected with the thermal proper but managed to get 1s and 2s up until the golf course (~2500') then scratched on a glide to the Racecourse. Good vis and cracking views of the south coast!
I was shortly joined on the racecourse by Roy from Dover&Folkstone club who only landed because he thought I was his flying buddy (His mate went onto Newhaven, DOH).
Lewis John came to say Hi on his bike having had to leave DD due to lack of parking spaces! (Having mixed feelings I'm sure)
Roy and I blagged a lift back to TO, which was nice...
