Flight

I debated for quite a while about whether it was wise to take off or not
in the end I picked a lull and just about got away with it cleanly

it was actually quite nice away from the ridge and compression
I didn't really try to go far but just had a play with the bar / riser combo and enjoyed the bits and pieces of lift as they came along
turns out the brown birds can be trusted but the seagulls are liars, the whole lot them... (to be fair I might have been a little late on the scene for that last big gaggle)

I made the decision to pack it in after watching a hg struggle through the compression

I've not flown this site much and didn't fancy exploring too far just in case I came unstuck somewhere & given how windy it was I chose to land at the bottom

better safe than sorry and all that
gutted I can't get out tomorrow
