| Flight details: | After bombing out on my first attempt, I rigged again and waited a half hour with nothing to go for. Finally a little breeze came back and 3 pgs were able to soar. Still nothing to go for but I took off anyway. Flew into the bowl and connected with lift taking me to around 4000ft over the A27. Stayed above 3000ft taking three more climbs to arrive over Firle. Wasted my height to land at the Sussex shop for an easy lift back (thanks Tim).
I really enjoyed the flight but feel a bit of a punter compared to Cookie and Taka who used the day for proper xc flying. |
