Seven of us had planned to fly towards Arundel; in the end Dean Bird landed just past Truleigh and me and Rob Chisholm got a bit of height at the end of Truleigh (a little over 1800 feet ASL) and just made it to Annington's Ridge which is next to Steyning Bowl. We scratched around, fell out of some punchy thermals then landed. After a mile and a half of walking we had coffee and cakes in the centre of Steyning then Martyn Lewis very kindly returned us to our takeoff point. Cheers Martyn!
