After three climbing attempts resulting in three slope landings and walk-ups I relaunched and caught a thermal with other pilots up to around 900 feet. Pushing forwards through some feeding swifts I met up with six circling seagulls who helped me to around 1600 feet and I'm afraid I couldn't resist the temptation to go over the back whilst at the same time losing the thermal. Found a small thermal just past Glyndebourne. Hurrah!... I only stayed in it for a couple of hundred feet. Boo and Hiss! Landed by the road between Ringmer and Laughton. It seemed really strong by the time I arrived back at Caburn so I went home. |
