Flight

After an impromptu camping session with a bunch of fellow skydogs, we found a nicely uncrowded Milk Hill on Monday morning. Sunny, but strong inversion at 2500ft meant climbs were capped, air was grumpy and the wind just kept increasing. Things looked to be deteriorating so I left the hill at 12, while Phil Colbert (in my thermal) opted to return to the hill. He flew 50km later, only leaving the hill at 2:20pm and it looks pretty windy from his tracklog, so I'm not sure I did the wrong thing, just missed the next thermal.
