Flight

90 minutes of blissful soaring at Swinside in Cumbria in the company of an incredibly patient Ed. Plenty of lift, a couple of saves from halfway down the slope, accompanied by large raptors (Ed should have some stunning video of one of them) - and no other pilots around until we landed. 

Landing patch (can't really call a handkerchief sized piece of grass at a 30 deg angle surrounded by fern a field...) was a struggle to touch down in and whilst I got my feet into it the wing landed on some ferns which meant for 15 minutes of untangling. 

That aside a wonderful morning to add to my 2 hours prior flying time...
