| Flight details: | Sky was looking good, with cu developing, and it looked as if stable sea air was moving in with the first line of cu already marching inland, so I got up, went out for a cloud, and left the hill at around 11am. Glided to Ringmer to where the first major block of cloud was building, and got up to base a bit later. Should have hung back under this cloud. Glided on to Heathfield through sink, got under Heathfield's dissipating cloud low over shaded ground, and couldn't get up again. Had a pint at the Star, then played bus ticket (Polegate) train ticket (Glynde). Back to the hill for under a tenner. |
