Wing type:Rigid wing
Flight details:
It seemed like the one good thermal of the day after a disappointing morning, that carried me up to 4500ft over the A23, with the great JC, a couple of other HGs and two PGs. Initially I headed back towards the Dyke with the intent of going West, but by half way back and half way down, and with a poor outlook beyond Truleigh, I was lucky to get another lift back to 4000ft, so reversed plan to the East. Had lost the others by then, but got to the Beacon at 3000ft and found weak lift as I drifted back to Lewes and overtook the two PGs. One further scratchy thermal past Caburn, and then a pleasant glide to the Manor at Wilmington. Didn't fancy going across Eastbourne and was too far South to go anywhere else, so burned off 1200ft for an "easy retrieve" landing next to the A27. A lovely day to be sure
