| Flight details: | Arrived around 09:30; two tandems plus Vincent were up as it was a bit windy. Wind and gustiness reduced a little so launched a bit after 11:30. Bimbled about for a while, thermalled with a hang glider then an ATOS zoomed past above me. Towards the end of the flight I lost height so returned to the hill for a top up. None of the usual triggers seemed to work; what had gone wrong? Basically it had sea breezed and I hadn't noticed. Bottom landed then walked up. Mental note: I must learn more about the sea breeze; I must talk to more people about how to recognise the sea breeze when the obvious curtain clouds are not present. Really enjoyable flight though.... |
