Flight details:
A great flight. Lovely sharing the sky with so many other Hangies and paragliders when everyone is spread out over 2000ft. Looking at everyones flights after I left, it seems I went too early. The climbs never went very high. I headed off to ditchling on my own and had my second climb behind newtimber, then I got very low near plumpton and unzipped ready to land (beneath the ditchling ridge), when I noticed the bonfire smoke at the edge of the field going more east than west... I drifted towards it still having my mind focused on the landing field I had chosen, but it paid off and there was a very narrow and smokey 2-up thermal that took me back over the ridge and towards lewes. I went over lewes low expecting to get something off it but found only sink and landed in the same field at the bottom of caburn that I landed in last month from Bo-Peep! A nice exploring flight but not quite the declared Rye Goal...
