Flight details
Title: Snakes and Ladders!
Site:Bulgaria
Pilot:Crispin Rose-Innes
Date of flight:1st June 2013
Wing type:Paraglider
Flight details:
Yesterdays declared goal was Shipka, out of sight along the ridge to the east. It was a challenging and technically difficult flight with endless low saves demanding a great deal of patience while climbing up the spurs and spines before deciding to cross rocky gorges, deep ravines and high ground covered with forests of pine. For me it was probably the hardest flight I've ever flown, on and off bar the whole way! Biggest sink enroute was over 22metres per second and that was scary! The elevation plot says it all!
