| Flight details: | So it turned out to be too strong until about 2 pm. Then became flyable. I got up to about 2000 ft and headed in the Ditchling direction. I bottled out of it as I approached the A23 and started getting sink. I later found out from Greg that if I had kept going towards the quarry I would more than likely have found lift from there.Oh well, I will know for next time. So didn't get to Ditchling. I did manage a 5k out and return and a 6 K triangle. Enjoyed the flying and the company and generally had a great day. |
