| Flight details: | Great day, not enjoying my glider quite so much in the rough air that can be around in Annecy this time of year. Today was a practice day with not all the pilots turning up to fly. Tomorrow the comp starts but its already become apparent that i've bought a moped to a moto gp race... Every glider is either an ATOS VR,VQ or VRS with the exception of one lonely Axxess (me)...
Climbing doesn't seem to be very different, I seem to have the advantage on most actually, perhaps its happier turning tighter, however some of the glides these guys are pulling out are very impressive (they have usually lost me by the first turnpoint!!!) and today was the first real example of that. Some breathtaking views though and ive got some great pictures I will try and add. |
