| Flight details: | Another low cloudbase for Annecy, had a good start but the lead gaggle had a much better glide across the lake to turnpoint two. Had a brilliant first 50km's though and started catching a few up and passing a couple, but then the conditions changed and I didn't change gears in time and got low soaring the lower slope of a mountain for what seemed like hours. An enjoyable flight - with an upslope runway of a landing field. Only 7 made goal I think and I had to watch them whilst I was lying on the meadow, having just bought some cold local apple juice and waiting for my retrieve, stuck up in the picturesque mountains that surround Annecy. Looking forward to the scores as one of our team did very well. Wont be spoiling the blog though...
