| Flight details: | Quite a hard day again at the BCC. Some clever people (Poles?) on Enzos and the like got away early and left the rest of us struggled to get much above t/o. Eventually I gave up on the ridge thermals and headed out toward the landing field in the hope of finding the house thermal en route. Fortunately it was there, and though it was not easy, I eventually got enough height to feel that I could head off down the ridge toward the Folly tower. A couple of thermals along the ridge helped. Wonderful views on the way to a landing not far from the scenic Llandegfedd reservoir. |
