| Flight details: | The masterclass with Gerolf Heinrich was the best thing I ever did. I didn't think I was going to learn so much, enjoy myself and experience such magnificent flying. Each day (apart from one rainy day) wee flew a task, with a major theme. The first flight task I am posting below was "fly the mountains, not the valleys". Then in the evening we got together for debriefing to analyse the tracklogs, watch the GoPro footage and go through the theory.
I keep persuading Gerolf to write a book. This course highlighted how limited the free flying literature is, at least in comparison to the amount of research and knowledge sharing present in the sailplanes community.
I'll stop here, I won't bore you by posting all my flights, as they are outside UK and they don't count anyway ;)
But take my word for it ... this week was my best flying experience, and I will be back here year after year. |
