Flight details: | Lift was rough and disorganised, particularly low down. I got my strongest climb ever at one point, corkscrewing up 500 feet in a few steeply banked turns. Once again, I didn't seem to be able to get much above 2,000ft ATO before losing my thermals. But that was enough to get across to Caburn from behind Beddingham, directly into wind, and back, with 800ft to spare. Another point over behind the Trig Point made a small triangle in a flight of over two hours. I landed when I was thirsty and hungry but I'd had the best part of the day. |
