The flight shifted (quite) my understanding of "strong thermic activity". Although initially it required some work to keep wing over a head while hunting for these rough, elliptically shaped thermals it wasn't somewhat scary. And after I settled myself to newly discovered level of thermals it start to be fun. Even that single time when (smallish) deflation did happen wind recovered without any fuss - probably due to lack of plastic in leading edge...
At the end whole valley starts to go up and after call to land I found myself going upwards +1..2 with big years on. It was a bit new to me - I had to find sink and nicely centring it in smooth descending circles.
