| Flight details: | Drifted back in a steady climb with the wind definitely on the north side of east, picked up another over Seaford, and had plenty of height to cross the river. Unfortunately with the easterly there was not lift off the houses beyond the Coastguard station, and I was soon too low to do anything but flop into the Seahaven Academy playing fields. Of course, all the gates were locked, but when I walked into the westernmost field, a family met me coming the other way. The husband turned out to be a teacher who had a gate key, had seen me land and was coming to give me my liberty. |
