Flight details: | Having seen lovely people lying around on the Dyke this morning (Thurs) waiting for the sea breeze I soon decided to go to Caburn. Having climbed the mountain I spent 10 minutes in the air which was quite long enough to convince me that the big black sucker in the sky behind it was making the air really shitty and the most horrible I've known it there. So, thinking Carlo's words about caution, I soon landed and, thanks to Stewart, went off to Newhaven where it was really very benign for the whole afternoon. Nothing too spectacular but nice and floaty. Being greedy I made two runs to the Marina and back. I could not get high enough above the crut from the houses at the Marina to get any further to Brighton. Almost boring really.... as if. |
