Flight details: | Pushed out front, climbed with Ellis, Phil and Vincent, but base was low and it was a one-thermal wonder (although Ellis headed seawards and made rather more of it). I decided I wouldn't succeed in following Vincent to the Ditchling ridge (where he bombed out anyway), but got nothing in the fields between there and the A27. As I packed up two seagulls climbed out above me.
I walked to the Ditchling roundabout, where soon a car containing Phil stopped. It was driven by Matt Boysons, who's recently had his first day of paragliding training - what a welcome addition to the club he will be. Unfortunately, I left my helmet in his car. Fortunately, my head wasn't in it at the time. |
