| Flight details: | A rather modest attempt when compared to the achievements of most of the rest of the southern crew, but a very enjoyable flight in beautiful terrain nonetheless. Failed to get away with the first gaggle. Toplanded and waited for a bit then a good climb out, but it all turned out to be hard work with the sky going a bit blue and not very active. Caught up (low down!)with Grita and Vincent and eventually clawed up to cloudbase but failed to connect with anything after that and landed after 22km. Congratulations to those that got through the tricky start and went on the score almost 100, 100+ and 200+!!! Reminder to self: practice, practice practice!!!!! |
