| Flight details: | GREAT DAY. No ridge lift at the dyke so headed to new timber where vincent was circling. slowly got up with him and we flew under a low cloud base all the way to laughton. things got quite scratchy for quite some time after that but eventually after Roberstbidge things slowly got better once i escaped the strange and weak seabreeze and thermals got more consistent (but still broken) and i finally got to 5100ft. only once over the goal landing field did i see Johnny carr gliding in to land next to me for the worlds easiest retrieve and tea, sandwiches and cake from Fran. great day, couldn't have gone better. |
