| Flight details: | What a surprise and a very pleasant mid afternoon flight from Caburn.
I had just launched when Crispin left in a good climb. It then took me ages to follow and leave the hill. It was lovely when it happened! Gentle climbs, the only worry was, I was drifting north in the lovely thermals. Struggling with that, I messed it up a bit. Then l landed in a huge meadow at Black Boys. Soon after my landing three lovely young people were strolling towards me - a young man and two young beautiful girls. They invited me for tea in the big white house. Then it transpired that the two girls were Dutch and one of them was living in my old city of Groningen in Holland. Sadly I missed the tea when Pete and Crispin arrived to pick me up. |
