Flight details: | It was one of those days when it was not clear where to go. I started in Caburn car park and then went to High and Over to find no other pilots there and reports of several flying Beachy and one at Caburn. We were soon joined by the Airworks crew and Mr Purdie showed the air to be flyable.
I had two lovely flights with almost nobody else in the air other than birds who were mostly marking thermals (since there were no cu's) but sometimes were just teasing.
The second flight saw just Mr P (on his tandem), Grita and I enjoying the site to ourselves, exploring the area and floating around. I found myself in a nice climb with Grita and we drifted with it. It was not a record breaking or league-worthy flight but it was an exceedingly enjoyable flop over the back landing near Bishopstone where we were kindly retrieved by my wife.
A very nice Sunday morning outing.
