Flight

Arrived at Newhaven early as wind was due to pick up strongly during the day. Along the way picked up the two visiting Nordic girls who had trekked from the Newhaven bus stop. Soon in the air and finding study lift in moderate wind. A couple of short beats convinced me a Brighton run was on so I set of followed by Vanja on her Alpina. Topping up to cross the Saltdean gap was not a problem and we made it back from Brighton with plenty of height to spare. Vanja was very pleased to get a flight in among several days of poor weather.
