| Flight details: | A fun little flight. I missed one chance to go with Pete and Grita towards Newtimber. I headed back to the bowl instead and then had to work to get back up again. Finally ended up back near new timber. I was at around 1100 ASL and thought it was the end of the flight as I saw another gaggle above me getting up and going away. But was lucky and found a good climb to about 2500. The gaggle (Nancy, Vincent, Catherine and Crispin) then came back and joined in. ( I must work more on my thermalling technique as I started above the others but ended up below them!!!) We then sort of split up. Vincent went to Brihton ( I think) two went towards the Ditchling ridge, Nancy and I headed for the A 27 route.
I went over the stadium expecting to find something there but didn't and then it was a slow glide with the odd blip to a field near the Kingston burger bar.
