...but the rest was nice. Couldn't get up with a Swift in some stonking but tiny and rough thermals just before the antenna. Scratched back to launch, and got a nice climb there. Cruised over to Crete des Serres, zoomed down to the end, crawled back but always feeling like I was going to make it back to town. But as I approached the landing field my glide ratio dropped to 1:1, and I knew it was windy. A couple of times I feared the wing might stop flying before I did, but no, it looked after me very nicely, as it always has done.
