Site:Bo Peep

Date of flight:26th September 2015
Wing type:Paraglider
Flight details:
I took off at around 12 into quite a busy sky. I thought that I would just be doing some ridge soaring, but I did find some weak thermals in front of the hill which took me up to about 500 ft. then I noticed a bonfire at the farm in front of the hill at Alciston. i got in the thermal from the fire which took me to 2200 ft and slowly started to drift back behind the hill. i thought that as I had some good height I would use this to go cross country. I went on a glide towards Newhaven, but didn't really expect to get any further than this. On the way there I found no further thermals. I crossed over the river and spotted the Newhaven fc football ground with another recreation ground beyond that. Iended up landing on the football pitch as the wind was a bit stronger than I had anticipated. safely down I packed away quickly and managed to get a lift back to launch from the retrieve app. A brilliant day.
